What do I wear when going on vacation without looking like a tourist?!?

I%26#039;m in my 20%26#039;s and going fishing for 6 days. The weather is going to be hot (90s). Then the next place I%26#039;m headed for fishing is in the 50s (COLD!) I have been fishing for years, but each time I go I end up blending into the tourists. What can I wear stand out (subtle of coarse) when I go out to dinner and still be comfortable? HELP!
What do I wear when going on vacation without looking like a tourist?!?
It%26#039;s easier to tell you what NOT to wear. Don%26#039;t wear a camera around your neck. Don%26#039;t wear a tshirt with the name of the city or state you%26#039;re visiting printed on it. Don%26#039;t carry a map prominently when you%26#039;re walking down the street (keep it hidden and only take it out when you%26#039;re in a private place, like your hotel room). When you get to the %26quot;cold%26quot; place, don%26#039;t tell strangers that you%26#039;re amazed how much colder it is than where you%26#039;re from.

If you need a fishing license or any permits to do whatever you plan on doing, get them IN ADVANCE, before you even leave to go there. Nothing says %26quot;tourist%26quot; louder than getting to the fishing hole and being carded by the game warden and saying %26quot;sorry -- I didn%26#039;t know I needed one%26quot;.

%26#039;Depends how many days you%26#039;ll be in each place. I%26#039;m gonna assume 3 days for hot and 3 days for cold.

For hot, stick to short shorts or bermudas. Maybe capris unless you plan on getting in the water. Stay away from skirts and pants. Wear sandals or shoes that you can easily take off to cool off. Tennis shoes are okay but you may want to get in the water to fish or to cool off. As for tops, stay away from flowy ones to wear while fishing. For fishing times you should wear maybe fitted short sleeve tees or tanks (maybe spaghetti straps if you have a good strapless bra for support). Have your hair up and/or pinned to keep yourself cool. For dinner try sundresses with sandals to keep cool again in the warm evening.

For cold days wear pants, maybe skinny jeans and a nice hoodie with a zipper so you can easily remove it if you get too warm. 3 quarter sleeve tops should be the longest length of a sleeve to go when its in the 50s. A long sleeve is okay but you don%26#039;t wanna cover up too much because you%26#039;ll get hot. If you get cold easily dress in layers that way you can remove a layer or two if you get too warm. Wear close toe shoes like tennis shoes or flats if you want to look more stylish. As for evenings, maybe I%26#039;m crazy but a sundress would still be appropriate just bring a sweater. Anything for dinner as long as you have a sweater to keep warm with. The jeans would look great if you paired it with a silk top.

Just wear what you like and what you know you%26#039;ll be able to look nice in but will be willing to wear for a long period of time.

%26#039;Hope this helps!!!
