How do you get a fake ring to not turn your finger green?

i have a fake ring i got from walmart..


its one of those like 10 dollar ones


but its sooo pretty and i love wearing it


only it turns my finger green and makes it obvious that its fake





is there any way to make it not do this


i really really want to wear it :]

cut out a small piece of paper or tape %26amp; wrap it around ur finger. then put the ring over it. dont know if itll work, but its worth a try.
